Bluegrass Pirates Continue adding Performances …

 What a crazy, crazy last week … and this week just kicked-up into another gear as well - the BGPirates booked a few more gigs - yessss!. And Cindie will be playing the Brack Shack soon (check out the Bluegrass Pirates website for dates).

Everything planned for last week far exceeded even my wildest imagination. And for those who know me, it can be very wild.

Bill Thibodeau my dear dear friend and member of the Rock Hearts Bluegrass Band came on a Wednesday - Cindie, Bill and Moi had a Bluegrass Pirates rehearsal for our Friday Brack Shack gig (give or take a 5 hour rehearsal - and it was incredible). 

The following day Bill and I hit the Woodwright Brewing Company Pickin' Splinters Open Mic Bluegrass Jam. Andy K (of the Pirates) also showed - WOWWWW, WOWWWW, WOWWWW, WOWWWW - everyone had a blast. I think the jammers thoroughly enjoyed Bill's and Andy's playing - and truth be told, someone complimented Andy on how much better he sang "Sinner Man" than me. I'd have to agree, I stole it from him. ANNNNND FYI: Bill said it was one of the best Bluegrass jams he's ever attended.

Friday Saw the Pirates with Bill at the Brack Shack in Auburndale. A bunch of folks who knew and played with Bill's dad showed up to say hello.

Then on Saturday the BGPirates with Andy K - performed in concert at the Palm Harbor Moose Lodge - which was incredible.

Annnnd to top off the music marathon I had a rehearsal with the GRR Bluegrass band I play in.

Thursday April 6th - The Woodwright Brewing Company Pickin' Splinters Open Mic Bluegrass Jam in Dunedin, FL - hosted by Moi - is a-going on - from 7 to 10pm - its hot, hot, hot and fun, fun, fun!

Their award winning Beer is served from 5pm along with amazing cuisine from The Duneatery. Please don't forget - we play rain or shine. (The indoor stage is tremendous)
