A new BRIDGE for the Maine Banjo Guy - Thank you Silvio Ferritti of Red Wine Bluegrass

Last year at Carolina in The Fall - in North Carolina - hosted by the Kruger Brothers; not only did I have a fantastic time , and when I say fantastic that's an understatement … at the "after party" I met the folks from Red Wine Bluegrass (Italy's premier Bluegrass band). Silvio Ferritti, the banjo player and I sat down for a bit, I showed him my banjo, he played it, I discussed the makeup of the instrument: Stelling Sunflower with Radiused Fingerboard (a duplicate of Tony Trischka's banjo), a jet black Kavanjo Banjo head, and a Deering "smile" bridge

Silvio played it and said he would like to make me a bridge … welllllllllllllll … he did, not only did he make me a custom bridge with a smile-esque configuration (it's slightly curved to make full contact with the banjo head) and he colored it black - my color scheme (LOL).

It's amazing … check out the video - enjoy … and also check out Red Wine Bluegrass on FB and with the provided link.
… then check out RED WINE BLUE Grass - from Italy - http://www.redwinemusic.net/?lang=en
